POLL: What are the Best Rims for DSM ?

This is my first poll, I hope it comes out okay.

I dunno the names of them all, so I'll post links down here for the various wheels.

Chrome B264 - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2456981362

Evo - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2456506650

Chrome Decorsa Polaris - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2455949189

Dragger - http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2455420560

Well thats all I guess for now, there were others but they don't seem to fit...

The Decorsa's and the Dragger I'm really liking, but they are so expensive!

Also I was curious what difference is there between say a 18x7.5 wheel to a 18x8 to a 8.5 in size. More bumpy the wider? Or better handling?

Lastly I guess which ever would look best on a black 2G.

the wider the tire the better handling... wider = better (remember the commercial) the bumpiness is the size of the side wall on the tire (middle number) mine are 40 wall and they ride alright, i had 35 wall on there until some asshole slashed my tires but it was more for looks, the ride sucked thats why i got 40s now!

and for the rims... i like all of them but not as much as mine!!! i bought them in may of '03 and love them, they look tight as hell when they are spinnin! they are 18x8.5 Arelli Assassyns here are two links to them, both pics kinda suck but oh well!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=43958

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38662

or you can go to www.arelli.com, click enter, click product menu, then click on one piece wheels... its the first one on the top left! thats probably the best pic of it!

Red face

i dont really go for chrome on a sports car, i think the Evo ones are the best. My adr spades will probably look nice after I get the tires and stuff. meh.

i think any of those would look sic on a black Eclipse, but there are different types [gunmetal, silver, etc.] for them all too...

I am definitely liking the EVO's. If you use your car for racing, you might want to look at weight too. The whole rotating mass thing. Just something to think about. If not, than who cares.

Well i'm white, so i'm going to go with some 12 pound racing wheels and not some chrome bling blangers.

Re: Re: POLL: What are the Best Rims for DSM ?

what does being white have to do with chrome bling blang? Brian O'conner was white and his car was all bling blang and it was fast too. didn't you see those 2 movies he was in?
