I have a 2001 sportage that i had to replace both front calipers and while i was bleeding the brakes i notice the fluid was bubbling in the reservoir. Is this normal? also my brake pedal does feel right either. Help PLEASE

Re: Brake problems
If you have anti lock brakes You will need a scanner to properly bleed.

Re: Brake problems
I think you have air in the system try to bleed all 4 wheels do back first then the front. You need to put the vehicle on four jack stands bleed each wheel three times. You can also use a vacuum bleeder.

Re: Brake problems
I also see brake fluid bubbling in the reservoir while someone is pumping the brakes.

Re: Brake problems
The bleeder for the drum brakes is on the wheel cylinder. Call and ask parts stores for a loaner. You can purchase a vacuum kit if you have a vacuum pump.Lisle makes them.

Re: Brake problems
Is the problem solved...or was there a problem, finally?
I had to change metal tubing to the rear brakes and bled from the end of the line connector, with success. WHeel cylinder bleeders happen to become too hard to unlock . My 2000 sportage, alas, is now defunct....those authentic KIA production models were so prone to corrosion that it was falling in pieces....body and frame...
