Question 96 Dodge 3500 Cruise Control Problem

Have 5 speed Manual trans., V-10 engine, Cruise button pushed, light comes on, but when SET button pushed, CRUISE won't activate. Everything is connected @ Cruise unit under battery.Appreciate any ideas. ben9@tds.net

make sure you have manifold vacum at servo under battery tray

1thunder was absolutely correct, THANKS! Reason should be noted tho: the vacuum hose goes under the battery & acid ate thru it.(Could happen to MANY!) Spliced the burned section with quality, slightly larger hose & problem solved. Had to R&R battery + batt. tray to accomplish this. Thanks again. Ben
