I have a 2001 330ci and recently the air fan seems to have a mind of its own. It pumps out air slow and fast regardless of the fan speed I set and regardless of what the display shows. This happens when it's on Auto as well. Any ideas what's happening and how I might be able to fix it?
thanks in advance. |

Re: Problems with air fan in BMW 330
Quote:
Malcolm Brumley My inside fan for the a/c has been cycling on and off. I found that the resistor pack has a high temp. cutout that has failed. I soildered a jumper across it and now it works fine. It can be accessed by removing the panel directly above the foot controls. It is about 1 inch square and slides out of the duct work. I thought I would pass this along in case anyone else has this problem. Hope this is of some assistance! |
