Hey,
So I'm almost done working on my Suburban. It has to be painted and should be done in about a month. Now I kind of know the ropes. My dad has always wanted to restore a classic car. He doesn't have the know how or the time. That's where I come in. He provides the cash and he ends up with a sweet car, and I get to drive it everyonce in a while. So I figured that its only fair for him to pick the car to restore.
I think it would be cool to do a 69' Fastback with a 351W in it. Has to be MANUAL. And has to be blue with Shelby racing stripes. What do you guys think?

Sounds good. I'll help...with whatever I can do.

Hey, what about a Stingray or a 67 Camaro? Too many old mustangs, methinks.

I wouldn't want to massacre a work of art. I would feel like every little thing would have to be completely and utterly perfect if I was to do a Cobra.

Stingrays are options!

P.S early cobras come with the 427 and the later ones came with a 428. Correct me if im wrong. A 427 is really expensive to buy now days!!!!

Thumbs up 67 Camaro

There must be a ton of early Mustangs there like over here you don't even look twice at them.

Yeah, there are quite a few early 'stangs around here. There's a sweet 67(?) fastback that's always on campus, for one.

I don't know what it is, but there's just something awesome about a 67 camaro. All of the first generation camaros (-69, is it?) were great, but the 67....mmmmm

Hell yea Primera. I would maybe go more extreme, Charger R/T with a 426, or maybe a Daytona Charger with the 440 Magnum or 426 Hemi.

I'd want to do a '56 chevy nomad, but it's just me. I love those things, especially when they are redone, without the crome trim on the sides, all new interior, they look so good.

I saw two 56 bel-airs today. Nice.

But, I think a 67 fastback is a good call. Gorgeous cars. Are you going to use the Shelby-style taillights if you do it, or the regular 'stang ones?
