Re: Summer Tires

What size? How much do you care about performance?

Re: Summer Tires

Depends on how you drive. If you wear winter tires during the snow season. You can buy all seasons to generally get you by through any conditions. Summer only are generally high performance tires which literally suck in the cold and snow conditions.

For a general passenger car with winter tires. You can chose a quiet comfortable tire for summer.

Really depends on what kind of car you have and how you drive. To drive, well within the law. Performance tires are not neccessary.

Re: Summer Tires

All-season tires are built to handle a variety of road conditions - dry roads, wet roads, and in many cases, light snow. Winter tires are built specifically to perform in winter conditions like low temperatures, ice, slush, and snow. The tread compound of all-season tires can harden in low temperatures, so there's less traction between the road and your tires. But winter tires use special rubber compounds that stay pliable in the cold, giving them better grip and improved braking, even in extreme conditions.
