flying lizard porsche ALMS colors

I am trying to find the colors of the ALMS Flying Lizard Porsche, preferably Tamiya spray cans. I found somewhere that suggested TS 17 Gloss Alum and TS 49 Bright Red, any suggestions?

Re: flying lizard porsche ALMS colors

Hello,

For my kit based on the Profil24 LM 2007 and Scaleproduction decals, I used the TS8 and TS17.

Thank you
No clear coat. Primer tamiya white. 2 layers of TS8 and TS17, sanding (2000) between each layer, then tamiya compound fine and finish. Decals (I do not remember but probably compound finish on the decals). Finally tamiya model wax.

Re: flying lizard porsche ALMS colors

Looks like a good match and a good clean build also!! I've seen the 1:1 car up close in the paddock and on the track many times. One time it will look bright red, and another time it will have an orange shade to it. I'm thinkin it was just the angle of the sun on it. Even my pictures of it are the same way.

Hi marmotte, it would be nice to see some additional photos in the Completed section. Looks nice.
