gti vr6 or gti 1.8t

I am looking at getting a used gti but there are two different ones available where I live. One is a 2002 gti vr6 with a 5speed. The second is a 2003 gti 20th anniversary with a 1.8turbo and 6speed. They both cost the same and have around the same mileage. The deciding factor would be which one would be faster. any help please.

Re: gti vr6 or gti 1.8t

the vr6 sounds nicer, the 1.8t is more tunable. take both for a test drive.
