People on craigslist really have to stop smoking crack before selling their bikes

76 CB500 for $2100?
86 yz125 for $1400?
85 honda something or other for $2400?

Are these people serious?

But if they stop smoking crack they wouldn't be selling their bikes anyway, cause they'd have money to spare...

Some of them might be crazy...I think some people put a higher price to try and keep away real low ballers.

Re: People on craigslist really have to stop smoking crack before selling their bikes

Mid size standards are hot right now...with gas prices what they are, lot of people wanting to try out riding as an alternative, old Jap standards are reliable and forgiving...

Make good cheap commuter rides too.

I remember not oo long ago I could always open the paper and find a rideable older bike to entertain myself with for a summer for $500 or so...not anymore....

Seems now you gotta have at least $1200 to get anything even marginal...everything less either doesn't have a title, or has a lot of work to be done...

At those prices, I should be able to get $20k out of my Fatboy, then I'll return to the real world and buy another Fatboy, and a Naked Sportbike for the days I feel like being a Hooligan! Yay for me!!!!!
