What The Hell Did I Do!!!!!!!!!
I sold my '90 Honda Accord LX!!!! Why would I do such a stupid thing. The worst part is I didn't end up getting another Honda i got a SATURN. I had the people at the place fix the clutch AND THEY HAVE HAD IT FOR A WEEK I got my Accords clutch changed and it only took them 6.5 hours. I think i made a mistake. i should get this

You Dope!!! How could you do such a thing?
I'm sure the Saturn was much cheaper then a Honda but in the long run the $$ saved from purchase will be dumped back into the car eventually. How comes you didn't get another Accord? What was the $$ difference out of curiosity? |

Re: What The Hell Did I Do!!!!!!!!!
Well i got a new job where i hafta drive 60 miles one way and with the accord having 225,000 miles on it i thought that i might not last that long with that kinda drive. I miss her already :-(
right now i pay 130-something and for the honda was like 220-something in that area and that was a little much for my payments so i cheaped out

Re: What The Hell Did I Do!!!!!!!!!
well i can tell you the Honda will last you a lot long, as long as you maintain it. Oil, Coolant, plugs, etc....
My 90 Accord EX COupe has 282,000 miles and does not burn or leak oil....has all the horsepower...and the paint is in good condition and I get compliments on how shiny it is all teh time....it is the Hemishere Green color. I wouldn't trade it for anything, except maybe a Ferrari! To me it is worththe care ... |

Re: What The Hell Did I Do!!!!!!!!!
mine leaked a little oil and the paint was horrible. I had rust in the same spots that i see on every other honda of that type. right above the wheels i think it was just somethig about those models that rust there. My aunt has a '92 ex and it had rust in the same spots that my '90 had rust spots in. I regret trading her in. I really liked her. :-(

Wheel wells. You've the seen them on the road...maybe you own one...a Honda with rust behind the rear wheels. There's a simple and easy way to prevent this from happening and/or to stop the current rust from getting larger. First: On the lip above the rear wheel is a rubber strip. . .pull this off; it allows moisture and debris to be caught in the seam between the quarter panel and the inner wheel well. You want this seam to be able to dry out. At the garage, we call these rubber strips "rust strips" because they cause rust. Second: Go inside the trunk and pull the side panels back so that you can see the inside of the quarter panel. Take an oil can with motor oil and shoot the same seam (listed in step one) from the inside of the car with oil. The oil should drip out on the floor in front of the wheel if you got it good, so put some paper down. I f you can see visible rust inside the quarter panel, soak it with oil. This will neutralize the rust and stop it from spreading. Repeat this in the spring and fall. Doors. On the bottom lip on the inside of the door you will see three holes in each door. These holes allow water to drain from the inside of the door. Fill an oil can with a long slim nozzle with motor oil. Insert the tip way into the holes. Coat the bottom of the inside of the door with oil. This will stop current rust and also prevent rust from ever forming. Do this every 3 to 6 months and your doors will never rust. This can greatly increase the resale value of your Honda. |

I love my honda! See sig... 157k miles. Still running strong, just needs a new o2 sensor, and it has a broken exhaust.
