I have one similar in my Nissan Cefiro 1997. The format for TV is NTSC and we use PAL in NZ. There may be a way of changing that if we could read Japanese.....Trying to get a manual but no success as yet.
A friend has a BMW that was in NTSC and via the menu on screen he was able to change to PAL so I'm ever hopeful.
The GPS part needs a CD in English. I saw one in Japanese again it was no good as not readable.
Lets know i you have had any further luck

I have just bought a 98 Mazda Capella with one of these in it. The trouble is, I can't figure out how to change the time on the clock. Any ideas anyone?

Hi. This is QTNZ... I have talked to a few people and found out that the clock and all settings are updated via Satellite in JAPAN ONLY. So this is of NO USE outside JAPAN... The langauge is still unknown but I'd say that cannot be changed. Just throw is away man
