FF2 Info
Being that i live in south florida and not more than 10 min from the area of I-75 on which they are shooting the movie i had the opportunity of watchin the filming serveral times and the cars are amazing, the 2 main cars, the green lancer and purple eclipse, as well as the viper, m3, mustang salleen, and 2 muscle cars, i believe they are a challenger and a charger are all in a "high speed race" that doesn't go over 40 during filming and 2 of 3 salleens on the set (always have extra) is involved in a terrbile terrible waste of $60,000 which involves it being totalled by a semi and traffic is brought to a halt as the remaining cars speed off...i have it on tape here are some shots.....(please note that this is just me impression of what they are filming from watching the different takes, they don't film in order)

I only filmed in i-75 for 4 days...I'll post some pics tomorrow. Next week were at Homestead Speedway, and the 19th is our last day of filming in Miami. I'll keep everyone posted.
Here's some photos from the warehouse scene and of Tyrese's car being painted...all 4 copies (two are already wrecked) http://community.webshots.com/user/kickazz3g Last edited by kickazz; 12-13-2002 at 03:09 PM. |

Filming on i-75 is done now, it went over a few days . Most of the filming was done not far from the parking lot at NE 2nd Ave and 17th st. We did some stuff on 595 and the keys also. The accounting dept has now moved from Lincoln Rd in Miami Beach back to Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA. Everything is starting to wrap up here. Next week...Homestead Speadway, then everyone goes back to CA. :finger:

I really love some of those bad ass japs (toyota supra, mazda RX7, Honda NSX(it's called something else in the states: Accura I think)). But why not some European cars in the movie ? That VW Jetta (Vento called over here in Europe) sucked big time .
Check these out: http://insel.heim.at/hawaii/310379/dbr9_m.mpg http://www.rsportscars.com/slo/video.asp ( the dahlback racing golf IV) http://users.pandora.be/lowrider2025/dub[1].mpg (put it especially on my public webspace for you guys to see) Ok, I have to admit the japanese know their way with fuel-based engines whilest Europeans have quite some expertise with the gasoil-engines (TDI). And the design of European cars isn't too bad either or is it ? GreetZzz Tim PS: I'm from Belgium BTW ( you can find me on the www.tuned-belgium.com forum most of the time). And don't begin any discussions with me on engine techniques whatsoever, coz I don't have a clue |
