bmw330xi
I am thinking about purchasing a bmw 330 xi sedan.
Here is what i would like to include in this model: 1. Premium package ($2,900) 2. Heated front seats ($500) 3. Bi-xenon headlights ($700) 4. Fold down rear seats ($475) 5. Power glass Moonroof ($1,050) 6. Silver grey metallic paint ($475) 7. Leather Upholstery ($1,450) 8. CD changer ($ ?) 9. Alarm system ($ ?) I priced this on edmunds.com and came up with a value of about &43,125 without tax (CT sales tax 6%) and without CD changer and alarm system. Total I would figure the price to come out to ~$47,000 (tax, registration, title, cd changer, alarm system, and #1-7 above). My questions are (1) how much above invoice would i be able to get away with? (2) Has anyone had any experience in purchasing a similar package and if so, at what price? Thank you |

I have a 2001 330i sedan, Silver, Black Leather, Wood Trim, Sport Package, Premium Package, Sunroof,....etc (so you can guess what my vote was). The sticker on the car was about $43,000. However, it was a demo and had 5000 miles. Got it for $39,000. I have a standing deal that when my lease is about 6 months from being up I'll go in and tell my salesman what I want and he will use it as his comp car, then I get it at a discount as a demo.
Anyway, I don't care what the car is, I'd never pay above sticker. |

Hey Crayzayjay,
Looked at infiniti FX, G35 (Sedan and coupe), Saab 9-5, audi TT, Honda Accord Coupe, Nissan Maxima, Nissan Murano, 350Z, Lexus, Mercedes, Audi A4 & A6, etc. It is called narrowing down your options...Look into it |

No problem crayzayjay
This car search has been crazy, i wanted to make sure i exhausted all the options and now i am finally down to a bmw. I have just finished working down the price. My first time buying a car, i had no idea it was going to be this difficult (I want to make sure 40 G's are spent well). Next time I might as weel just consider a scooter. |

Just got a 330xi...
Actually, we just purchased a 2003 BMW 330xi w/every option available minus park distance control. Also just got the windows tinted. Very nice. Couldn't be happier w/the car. Especially over here in Germany, the Autobahn is made to rip it open. I've read about people having problems w/the nav system. We have been nothing but impressed. We haven't driven it in te states yet, so I can't speak for the quality of the map content there, but there are some tiny ass villages in the middle of nowhere out here, and it has the smallest roads you could imagine right there in the system. I'll put a couple of pictures up here:
After tinting Side view I have plenty more of the inside, engine, etc. Just let me know. Van |
