Ordering from HLJ? Big Order?

Hey gusy, I noticed that it takes close to 6 weeks to get your order so I was curious do you guys just buy in bulk when you do order from them to make it worth your time? My local(30 mins away) Hobby shop carries Tamiya, Fujimi, and a few others (I saw that RX-7 that everyone is making now there) but I wasn't sure how long it takes him to order them and after shipping and his price would it be worth it just to order it from HLJ.

Six weeks?????

I always order in-stock merchandise from Hobbylink, and it arrives from about 2 days to 2 weeks after I place the order.

If there's something you want that's not in stock, you might want to place a separate order for it if there are other things you need sooner that are in stock.

HLJ prices are good, but you do need to add a few things to your order so that shipping one item isn't cost prohibitive. I recently bought 5 wheelsets at 700 yen each, shipping was 700 yen. That seemed great, because NOBODY carries the wheel sets in any hobby shop that I know of. Order a few kits, and shipping works out to about $4-6 each for shipping.

The reason why its so high for you is because you a crazy Canadien! I'm just playing I use to call my hockey coach a crazy canadien since he was from Canada

$5 a kit for shipping isn't too bad.
