Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

The first wheel is installed.

And the bike stands upright on its own....

I have made the clear protective spiral copying another guy from another forum:

Wayne Gardner's 1986 NSR500 Rothmans - Motor Bike Factory Works In Progress Forum - eScale Models

It's easier you read his explanation....

Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

Almost ended the handlebars....
Made the connection to the brake reservoir with a T2M bolt and 0.7 rod.

Placed the green tube

About the gauges.... the left one as a hole inside, the decal will not stay there flat...

I cutted the decal and left it on the paper and glued it into the hole with white glue...

Nice build Andrea!
I've thought of buing the Trick Star ZX10RRs from Fujimi but have been a bit uncertain about the quality/price ratio but I think I'll have a go.

Hello did you see my WIP about ZX10RR 2010? As fujimi kits there is a bit of work to do, but at the end the model is very nice, very crispy details....

No, I didn't. Been away for some years so I have some to catch up (didn't even know F made bikes...) I'll look your WIP up and have a look!

Reading it I remember looking at it when I first saw the kit on ebay!
Nice build! I will do the red one though! :-)

Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

Some days ago clear coated the rear fairing and the tank. The rear fairing have been sanded and now I need to polish them.

Installed the brake and gear levers with their lines

The front brake lines

I found some issues I could fix but without reference I didn't notice them.... as the rear oil tank which is empty... some putty would solve the problem... And the attachment pins too. I didn't noticed the should be visible....

Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

It all looks really good Andrea - this really is coming along great
I see that Zero paints has the one color for the Tech21 bikes but not for the decal part
I don't think the kit decals are the best to use - I think painting it all would be better like you did Andrea
John

Andrea - what colors did you use to make the darker blue for the Tech21??
I see that Zero doesn't offer that color in the "tech21" paint set.
