Re: Yamaha Tech 3 + Laguna Seca
Andrea - I just received my "2010 Laguna Seca" decals from nicolecron - the decals look fantastic and they do not have the errors of the Studio27 decals - I will start on my kit next weekend - also I'm going to build a "Spies" first win 2011 Assen Yamaha M-1 also nicolecron decals - John

Andrea - Thanks for sharing your motorcycle builds with the forum - they all turned out very well done. Also you helped with many answers for others that are waiting to build these models. - John

Re: Yamaha Tech 3 + Laguna Seca
I go ahead with this WIP instead to open a new one as I'm building another Laguna Seca M1 for a friend of mine. It will be a new bike with a Top Studio detail set with the old (my) liverie.
A new liverie for mine will be made with nicolecron decal. Wheel and sensor steering dumper rear wheel (the chain tensioner is not very clean as I had some problem to cut the palstic one) engine with detail handlebar metal exhaust (a nightmare to paint ) |

Re: Yamaha Tech 3 + Laguna Seca
Going ahead with decals.... these are better than S27 but some problems with the black lines going from the front fairing to the side fairing. Short and curved.... I will have to work on them...
the wrong lines: |

Re: Yamaha Tech 3 + Laguna Seca
In the meanwhile I ended the Rossi's helmets.
I have made the 2 side pods with plasticard... There is to retouch the black color around the front opening. I used an acrylic clear paint as 2K seems to much for me ,too thick.... |

Re: Yamaha Tech 3 + Laguna Seca
Nice work with the decals Andrea - it is not easy to get them to work just right - well done on the helmets - John
