interior fan switch failure
I have a 2002 Envoy with 96k - mostly trouble free miles.
I recently lost interior fan speeds 1 thru 4. 5&6 still work. Any help? Tom |

Re: interior fan switch failure
I fixed it. 2 screws (7mm) to remove kick panel below the glove box, 2 screws to drop the resistor straight down (7/32"). Unplug and plug in the new one. GM part no 89018604 - for my 2002 SE. The fan works fine and!!! the AM static noise is all but gone! I have digital photos & directions if anyone wants them. Tom

Re: interior fan switch failure
There are two different resistors for the envoy. I've seen where some models with dual climate control use a resistor that costs $90.
