An Altima 3.5 5-Speed ran a 13.92. I'll be trying to beat that here in a few weeks...

I'm pretty sure it can't do that stock. Now, with better breathing and possibly a new ECU (the simple formula to shave a second off your Nissan's 1/4 mile ET), I'll believe that. Stillen is supposed to have parts out for the new Altima already. I wouldn't be surprised if everybody who's started tuning the VQ35DE has hit 13s. And you could probably lose some of the superfluous Altima stuff, like the back seats maybe?

It might be able to do 13.9 stock with a five speed.

or was it 12? either way 13.9 seconds is damn fast for a "stock" car.

Helmet Laws
At Seattle International Raceway the rule is helmets for cars that run 12.9 or faster, not in the 13's.
Yes, either way that is fast for a 4-door family car. They carry a lot of weight. I can't wait to see what the 350Z does with that engine using the rear wheels. |

The Maxima is a tad faster but most of the time it is based on the driver
