1987 f150 xlt lariet

i need help with my truck.had a bad motor in the truck pulled it out and purchased a 1994 f150 from friend with 104000.went to change the intake to my intake because of sensors different.found out it was roller motor didnt know there was difference in fireing order til didnt run run right in truck.found out and swapped wires on cap to correct fireing order.still doesnt run right does someone know if fuel injectors can misfire if on the 1987 computer?i keep everything on 87 computer any help would be appeciated.

That is something I'm not sure of. I only know that whenever I've done a year to different year swap, I've always changed the computer.
