That really sucks!!!! I just wanted to say thank you, cause I am dropping in a ZC into my REX pretty soon and I was gonna get it from hondamotorsonline.com. But after reading that story I am definately not buying from that a$$hole. I might pretend to buy a motor from him and never pay him or someting like that. Just to mess with him. I'll be thinking of new ways to scew this guy over.

I just got my b16 from them. I hope everything works or I am going to be really pissed. I am sort of mad already because the altenator and crank pulley are chipped pretty badly.

i don't know
I'm new, but I've bought from steve before. I'm in the process of getting a b16 and so far I have had no trouble. What I have noticed is that steve is pretty much the one that does everything at his warehouse. I hear he has other employees but he always answers the phone and I've always delt with him. Also I do know for a fact that he provides many different shops with engines, so he doesn't deal with retail too much. He gets containers weekly with more engines but he's always busy getting rid of them. This might answer why "91b16sedan" got his b16 with a chipped alternator and crank pulley. Cause his best engines go to the shops he supplies so that they keep buying from him and they don't go to any other importer to get engines. As for "kbslaker", that really fucked up. It just proves he's overwhelmed with work. He didn't do his work right and ended up screwing you over. I'm not justifying his actions but i'm just trying to give a resonable answer. Take it how you want to take it, I'm still buying from steve cause I think that he offers the best set-up for your dollar.

If i were you i would go to his office and give him a offical F*%KED UP engine BEATING!! OF HIS LIFE! but that is just me! i had a guy like that but he was putting my motor in my truck.. he said that it would take about 4 weeks to finish the job install it and get it running.. i didnt have time so i let him do it.. and it took him 6 months and a shit load of money to do it! my truck dosent run right and im too pissed off about it to see what is not working! so i took it to ford and they said that they didnt know what is going on.. so i have to end up taking it to pro shop good think he didnt touch my nissan! sorry to hear that there are more ass holes out there!

Sounds like some "12 Monkeys" shit to me man...I'll help you spread the word. Being a car enthusiast is one thing...but being a car enthusiast without the parts you need is another. A very stubborn and impatient feeling comes to anyone who has been shafted after enduring a long wait for such expectations. The story you told was too planned out to be imaginitive bull so I'm sure you where serious. But, just remember it could be worse. You could have a honda accord so stripped out that the only thing a person could consider stealing would be your drivers seat...unfortunately the wing to provide balanced weight for cornering around turns reaching .88-1.4 g's was a pretty one. And someone thought that a crowbar to the rear trunk lid was the best way to remove it from the car the fuckers that steal car parts and the companies that don't know shit
