1990 xj6 soverieng problems

I recently bought a jaguar xj6 for 700 dollars. it seems to ride pretty good at first but now my check engine light came on.
I pushed the VCM button and at first it said "fuel 26 Fail 6". it also once said "fuel 16 fail 16" but that was only once. I kno my power steering fluid is leaking. also, after i run my car for a while and park it, i hear like a tickin clicking noise underneath the middle of the car. and also my car raises and lowers when its parked sometimes. and also my headlamp light ont he dash is on and i cant figure out why. i looked at all my lights and i thinkin that there all working

i have the same car, i have the light thing on on my dash also, but i had a loose bulb that works sometimes and sometimes not so maybe check that , i have had a heck of a time getting any one near me to work on the car or give me any ideas about it without way over charging me , my air system for the suspension was converted to regular struts, shocks, which u can buy on ebay for about 40 dollars, then the car wont go up and down, but it sounds like a sensor or computer issues, and maybe a fueling problems, i also had water leaking into my fuse panel on the passenger side floor which blew alot of fuses and i didnt know it, but that was causing some funny things, the car has refused to start a few times, and it did that clicking and flashing the marker lights, i had to un hook the battery and hook it back up and that fixed it, i am not a mechanic but i know these cars are not as horrible as people make them out to be, i love my car even with all its quirks. good luck, and service manuals on the car are very helpful
