Am I Getting Scammed?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, this is my first post here. I brought in my 2016 Tucson to the local dealership service center. The car was making a huge clunking noise every time the gas was pressed, and at times it would just crap out completely and not accelerate when the gas was down. After the diagnostic, the dealership had concluded that the bearings were damaged, and the engine was essentially being fed scraps of metal every time the gas was pressed. After getting a quote from Hyundai (we have a 5-year/60k mile powertrain warranty because we are the second owners; the previous owners were a rental company), the total cost came out to be above $10k, or $3754.xx with the discount. Does anyone have any experience with how expensive an engine replacement costs for the Tucson, or if the engine even needs to be replaced entirely when there are broken bearings? The servicemen had suggested that an engine replacement was the best option, but I wanted to get an opinion from you guys.
