Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

That's one reason why I like these forums. I learn how to make better (hopefully) models and learn something new every time I get on. You guys are all more informed about the subject matter than I am!

The exhaust takes 2 days of work but I'm satisfied with result.... there are some gaps but they will be hidden when the bike will be closed

Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

I have made a little modification to the exhaust support cutting an angle of the hole. In this way I may place them after closing the 2 half of the exhaust.

Now the radiator

and a whole sight

I have made the connection on the oil tank with T2M details. The Holins decal is too large and it need to be cutted

Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

nice progress Andrea - really looks the part
The shock reservoir came out nicely and your exhaust hanger bracket looks good
what material did you use for the exhaust hanger bracket?
Thanks

Oh I understand - you just modified the end where it attached to the exhaust can.

I miss-understood and thought you made the whole piece.
looks really good though

Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

Andrea - the sprockets and chain look really good too
did you airbrush them or did you paint with a brush?
also what color gold did you use for the chain?
This YZR is really coming out nicely
I can only hope mine will be close to what you are able to do
I learn so much every time you or Sandro build a bike

Re: Yamaha YZF750 Tech 21 Fujimi

Hello John
sprockets and chain are airbrushed.... I used the tamya enamel gold for the outside and gun metal for the center section.
Some weathering did the rest....
