P-51 Mustang GT-4

I had this Tamiya GT-4 kit that had been cannibalized for another project. Except for those missing parts it is out-of-the-box.
The decals are a combination of custom designed and printed, parts-box left overs and some readily available off the shelf Warbird/Scale-Master stock.
Mostly Tamiya paints were used, plus some very old original Alclad metal finishes.

Yeah, love the end result. I wouldn't mind at all, driving a car in this livery daily.

Re: P-51 Mustang GT-4

Looks awesome. I saw in your build thread that you mixed AS-12 and TS-17. That's a hell of an idea. That's a phenomenal silver paint job. Mind if I ask what ratio you mixed and air pressure?

Re: P-51 Mustang GT-4

Thanks Guys!!

About 50/50 on the paint mix. I shot it at about 18 psi with a Paasche VL.
