96 probe no spark no gas

friend swapped motors in his probe it would not start so he then took it to a backyard mechanic who cut all the alarm system wires I reconnected all the cut wires but now there is no spark nor is the fuel pump coming on any ideas other than setting it on fire?????

Use a wiring diagram for the alarm wires. Hook them up correctly and it should start if it was running before you worked on the vehicle.
