Engine oil in coolant. 2004 XC90 non-turbo
(EDIT: I just went over and looked at engine ...Oops! its a turbo!)
I may be wrong about the year ... its my neighbor's car. He's suddenly getting engine oil contamination in the coolant. The engine is down a quart ... the coolant is overflowing ... laden with oil. ??? Anybody had/heard of this? I don't know anything about this engine ... can't even find a cutaway drawing. Not knowing what else to do ... he's gonna drain coolant and begin taking intake manifold off of head. Last edited by 12Ounce; 12-20-2009 at 03:11 PM. |
