Looks pretty cool...not sure about the headlights. So, what's the watered down Infiniti going to look like, or has Nissan fianlly come to their sences and decided to ship this one to us?

The car will be shipped as is to the states (with Infiniti badging) as Carlos Ghosn forced Nissan to realize that it's infinitely idiotic to produce a high-dollar grand tourer filled with one-off pieces and then only sell it to an 1/8th of your potential market.

You'll see the Infiniti GTR in a few years, and it will be summarily trounced in sales by the established sports car brands in America, though may enjoy more success than the abismal Honda/Acura NSX.

I copied this from my original thread http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=471629

I just think it looks like they took an RX-8 and 350Z, mixed it together, then took the 350Z's ass lights and put it on the front. Doesn't look bad but they got no where near as good as they did with the R34.

I think the car is awesome. The only question I have is how much hp will these Production TwinTurbo V6s put out?

The rumor from various automobile magazines is 400 to 500 HP.

Re: Nissan unveils the next-generation GT-R prototype

I had an understanding that it was going to be an "INFINITI-GTR" everywhere in the world?

Re: Nissan unveils the next-generation GT-R prototype

It's a good thing that it's just a concept. I think it the body looks a little bit too close to the 05 Mustang from a point of view. Personally think its cool that Infinity/Nissan is actually bringing out the GTR. I hope the designers make it more of a sporty look that a futuristic look though...well, lets see what happens!
