Some photos of the small amount of work done..
The engine was assembled and painted with base colors: Welds on the steering box were added and the frame was primed. Lots of things to do, it's not perfect yet =): Welds on the suspension arm were also added, but now that I look at it, it looks awfull, needs to be redone: While the primer was drying, I started messing around with 0.1mm wire: The radiators also received the welds and the first test with scratchbuilt electrical connectors: The fuel line will be replicated with solder and the flange with stirene: Finally, a little artistic license =) This is going very, very slowly...But in a year or two this will get completed =) Thanks for looking, Pedro. |

The springs are for the exhaust pipes. Some of them need to be redone, though... That "thing" in the last pic is the exhaust pressure equalizer line. Although not very noticeable on the pic, I heat stained them. Cheers, Pedro. |

Re: In progress: Detailed 2004 Yamaha YZR-M1
Unfortunatly, I had to put this project (and all others, to be honest) completely aside. Internship and college leave me no time to model at all. Besides, I'm waiting for my lathe and milling machine to arrive
Thanks for the bump Cheers, Pedro |
