'05 License plate bracket

I have an 05 Corvette and my state requires a front plate but ..... obviously I really hate to drill into the nose to put a bracket for my front plate. I got it inspected by using some stickers to hold the bracket in place and have since removed it. Today I got a written warning from the police about not having a front plate. Does anyone know of a way that I can mount the bracket on an as-needed basis without leaving some unsightly holes in the nose ????

Re: '05 License plate bracket

I have actually been issued tickets for this on both my cars. I just pay the tickets. And mine has spots for plates.
Yours, I wouldn't touch it. If you can afford a C6, then you can afford a $30 ticket.

While paying tickets is an option it isn't the answer that I was looking for. I just want to know if anyone has a solution to mounting the bracket in an easy-on, easy-off, no visable damage manner ????
