Newbie here

So hey everybody, I'm a newbie as I'm sure everybody will quickly learn

I'm 17, and I'm feeling the need to purchase my first car especially since I'll be headed off and will be on my own at college. I considered making a bargain with my mom to see if I could buy her Camry from her, but last time I checked I don't want to be stuck with a V4 common car.

To get down to business, I've been checking out the current model "muscle cars" since I don't have time to put the work into an old-school older model real muscle car.

The cars I've been looking into are the '10 Camaro, '09 Challenger, '09 Mustang, and the Charger. It might be brand new, or I might go certified pre-owned to save some money, with the exception of the Camaro, i'd probably want to go V8 in all of these cases. My question to all of you is, which of those models do you think is a good candidate for a muscle car, with price also minorly in consideration (staying between $20,000 and $30,000)

Welcome to AF, read the reviews on the new Camaro, even the v6 is very quick, seems to have all the right " stuff"

Shop around for insurance before buying one of these cars. At best, insurance companies will charge big dollars to insure a 17 year old male driver with one of these fast cars.

At worst, they will simply refuse to insure you.
