Re: Warmbold Davenport, BMW 2002 Hasegawa
Thank you Gio! Fenders are finished and painted the base "Chamonix white". I had a chance to look at some original BMWs in this color recently and my best guess was mixing 50/50% Tamiya TS7 Racing white with TS26 white. The blue will be the mix of TS10 and TS44.

Re: Warmbold Davenport, BMW 2002 Hasegawa
Thank you Paolo and Racer1! I had a little time to spray on the blue today:
I wonder how the chrom trim will fit all around the car and how those combined rubber/chrome windowframe decals will go on. I hope they'll be all right. |

Re: Warmbold Davenport, BMW 2002 Hasegawa
Small progress on the BMW, I glued the chrome strips and started to add some details. The chrome strips are very delicate and need some touch up after cutting them from the sprue. I used Molotow liquid chrome marker which works reasonably well.

Re: Warmbold Davenport, BMW 2002 Hasegawa
Small progress again, chrom foiled the window frames and put together the boy with the chasis. I also started to cast the wheels, these are the ones from the kit.
Still needs some decalling and final details. |

Re: Warmbold Davenport, BMW 2002 Hasegawa
Small update on the wheels, I casted the rims and dry fitted on the car. Also prepared the decals, since those were printed on Alps, some on the blue body needed a white base put below. Thanks Petteri for the print !

Re: Warmbold Davenport, BMW 2002 Hasegawa
A little update on the BMW, wheels are casted, and finally I put some decals on.
I hope to have some time to finish the car soon. |

Re: Warmbold Davenport, BMW 2002 Hasegawa
Looks excellent. If you ever going to sell the wheels, I'm in for a set.
