Tamiya R33 Skyline GT-R V-Spec & Fujimi New MR2 SW20 *pics*
I hate my camera. I need a macro lens... Okay, enough of that...
Here's my Blue MR2. A few days after these pics were taken, it exploded. It is now in pieces waiting for repair... Blurry!!! Arrgh!!! The foil in the taillights looks so good!!! Open top... ...closed top. I like the masking guide in the instructions in this kit. You photocopy it then cut out of double-sided tape. Here's my R33 Skyline GT-R. I can pick out a zillion mistakes on this model myself, no need for you guys to... Shiny rims and brakes! A shot of the underside would have been a better idea if there was a bit more contrast... And a parting shot of the two together. The Skyline is leading, of course... Any comments? |

Nice one Jay, we haven't had enough pics of your collection!
MR2 is a nice change too, don't see many about! I can't see any mistakes on the R33 and I have built one, so don't pull yourself down! A black wash on the white chassis might give the look you need though, bring out some of that detail! You are working on a project at the moment aren't you? What is it? |

poor MR2
The Mister Two is the car that was giving me all the trouble with the side mirrors. They fall off when you look at them. And when you don't.
I reopened the kit to see about drilling mounting holes from the backsides, and at the same time all the windows fell out... And just for good measure, one of the exhaust pipes is all askew. I don't even remember doing that! So, while I have it open, I'll re-do somethings I wish I'd thought of in the first place. Like blocking the view through the side scoops, and touch-up the interior a bit... |
