What do you guys think about the JC Cosmo(with 20B)? I think it's sad that Mazda didn't released it in the rest of the world I heard of a couple of hundreds that were exported to Australia and States but just a few. I woud love to have one.

I think they should've had a 20B option in the RX-7. It seems like a waste to not put it in their rotary sports car. But yes, the Cosmo is awesome.

20B is definitely bad ass... I don't know if you guys have heard of Jim Downing, Famous for inventing the Hans device and driving Rotary powered cars in the 24 hours of Le Mans and other races.. His shop in about 20 minutes from me, last time i was there he had a 4 Rotor open Kart that was producing in the range of 850HP and could easily rev to 18,000 RPM, it was naturally aspirated and the engine still weighs less than a 302 V8.. amazing... I wish i could fit a 4 Rotor Quad Turbo in my car...hahahha 2,500 HP daily driver, There a few quad turbo 4 Rotor engines, but they were only used for Race Baja boats back in the mid 80s and early 90s...BRB let me go check Ebay maybe theres one for sale there...hahahah

We have a 1990 Type 'E' JC Cosmo. Its 20B twin turbo.
There were 9000 20B models made. They were never exported from Japan. They were a Japanese only vehicle unfortunately. There have been some imported to Australia now and there are lots showing up here in New Zealand. Ours was bought into NZ in March 1991 with only 1274km on the clock so its almost NZ new.
We have had the engine fully rebuilt, ported, polished etc. Unfortunately we are selling it noew for about $25000NZ. We spend $12000NZ on the engine alone and the turbos have been fully rebuilt also.
Very nice cars.
Now we are putting a 20B in our 1979 RX-7 soon.
attached a pic of our engine

Planning to buy one myself, but I'm a little blank on what I should look for, regarding options and cool-to-have-stuff. Any tips?
No doubt I'm going for the 20B.
