Re: Lancia Fulvia Zagato Daytona 1/24 gdetailfactory
Hi guys, last update before finished pictures, I was lazy again....sorry.
Front grille and lights done, dry fit to body, not that bad at all Next of was chassis, very simple, I didn't do nothing extra except a wire on co driver side. I must say that resin rollbar is very fragile and would suggest to make your own with brass to get firm structure. Nice touch with PE rings Gio Then Gio as a real customer care Italian guy send me replacement wheels so that I get more real deal out of this beauty. First I used combination of gold titanium and duraluminium from Alclad as paint for wheels, but they were still not gold enough. So next coat was titanium gold plus pale gold...and with wheels on car In the mean time I did most of other things but didn't take any pictures, so...sorry, just to say that all glass/PE parts went with no major issues, as Gio said...size was good, but yes deeper groves would be nice. I also added some things to engine compartment to make it a bit more busy In the morning after all the glue was set we had first snow, so I had to take the opportunity because nothing is better for contrast picture then fresh snow...even if this is pure track car Still missing are blinkers, rear glass, exhaust and small bits and pieces...next pictures in finished are. Thanks for watching |
