Idles but stalls when given throttle

I have a 1998 jetta. 2.0L 4 door Auto
Here is the problem..
Will start and idle. However, if you give it any gas at all it shudders and stalls.
All gears work but car will not rev high enough to move vehicle
With researching this problem, I have replaced.
• New fuel
• Sparkplugs
• Sparkplug wires
• Rotor button
And checked
• Purge value
• Fuel filter
• Fuel pressure (idles with 29-30 psi take vacuum line off and it rises to maybe 38)
Ran codes
• (brings up #1 and #2 banks... and Purge Valve)
o checked valve and it seems to be fine.
checked for vacuum leaks. Changed oil (*looking for shavings, none), changed fuel and made sure the fuel pump works.

I'M LOST and we all know we can go broke fixing all the little things but never find the big problem.

PLEASE ANYBODY WITH ANY KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THIS PROBLEM HELP PLEASE…
