the 1.6 dual overhead cam has 130 horsepower. the 1.8 has 150 hp. you might have 130 but not 150 hp. assumeing you used the throtle body from a 1.8 liter geo storm, and you have a pacesetter header. those might give you five horsepower (from 3 to 4 thousand rpms)

50mph? I have had mine up to 115 on a curvy road while it was raining racing a mustang. only problem i was having was it losing grip of the road on the turns.

O and I have a sohc, and getting ready to turbo charge.
