I've got a Yamaha R1 currently being painted.. I had a progress thread a while back, but here's a little teaser of my next bike project since nobody has posted yet. It's Tamiya's 12R Ninja, but it's only been test assembled so I can start work on the scratch-built hugger and under tail.
   I think it's kinda sad that so few people on the board either don't build or don't post thier bike models. They're tons of fun to build and are a great change of pace from all car modeling.

I have a Ducati 916, A Ninja, and Yamaha YZF-R1 waiting for me to build them. Between dental school and my girlfriend I think my kids will be the ones building the 200+ kits i have in my closet at home.
I agree with you though, bikes should be a bit more popular than they currently are.

I love building bikes and start getting into it. Here is Yamaha R1 Taira Racing. I want to get a Hayabusa kit next

I want to build a nice crotch rocket, but I can't find any except all these old BMW war ones. When I find one, I'm going to build it though.

Yeah, I am thinking about getting a bike model when i get some time. Are they easier to build than cars or not? They are usually cheaper too, right?
