power sunroof not working
2000 s80 the sunroof was working fine, then went to open and nothing happened. It does not make any sound when I try to open. My regular mechanic will not even investigate. Any suggestions? I have checked fuses and they are fine. thanks

Re: power sunroof not working
a lot of the newer volvo cars have sunroof modules that are connected to your siren module. check your siren out and see if it works if not that may be your cause. I haven't been at volvo that long so i havent seen that many older ones like yours yet to know if yours is like that though.

Re: power sunroof not working
on the 99's, the sunroof will not work if the voltage output of the alternator is to low. this will also affect the power door locks. the voltage will be to low to run optional systems yet still high enough to not set off the low voltage indicator warning light.
