Warning lights staying lights.

Hello All,

Here's my problem:

The following warning lights are not going out after engine is started.

ESP BAS - Electronic Stability Program / Brake assist system
Brake system warning, parking brake
Failure of anti-lock brakes
Traction control

I scanned but found no trouble codes.

Drove vehicle and seems to be stopping fine.

Any one familar with this?

Suggestions?

Any assistance would be appreciated,

Haze

Re: Warning lights staying lights.

Problem solved,

After much googling, found several possible reasons for those four lights coming on.

1. Dirty or bad speed sensors on hubs.

2. Bad ABS control module.

3. Low brake fluid.

So I started with the simplest, and checked fluid level.

It was about a 1/2" below max line, so topped it off, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 a cup.

Took it for a drive to a restaurant for dinner, then over to Home Depot to pick up a couple things.

Come out of HD, start car, lights go off.

I find it unbelievable that low brake fluid sets off all those warning lights.

Can only imagine what a trip to the dealer would have cost me !!!

Re: Warning lights staying lights.

Damn you Chrysler !!

Started it the next morning, and lights are on again.

I know, I know, what the hell was I thinking,

Of course it couldn't be just a 3 dollar can of brake fluid.

But why did they go out for a while?

On to the next cheapest thing on the list, check the speed sensors.
