2002 pontiac gp 2 door coupe

yes, i recently purchased this car and had the abs lights and trac off light come on? also how can i test to see if hubs are bad? can the sensor on hub be tested with multimeter?

To check the hub you need to (safely) jack the car up and check for play in the bearing by grabbing the tire and wiggling back and forth. You can check the sensor with a multimeter.

The easiest thing to do is to scan for ABS codes with a code reader capable of reading ABS codes. My local Advance Auto has a reader that can do that. It will point you in the direction of the sensor throwing the code.

A common failure point is actually the wiring going to the hub, somewhere along the control arm.
