Re: Turbonetics T3/T4 Hybrid Turbo Kit For Sale
just wondering why you don't want to put a supercharger on your car?

Re: Turbonetics T3/T4 Hybrid Turbo Kit For Sale
Some people have personal preferences to turbocharging, like the ability to run different boost levels easily.

That and its better gas mileage (under the boost) and i believe more tuning ability not to mention it makes a great sleeper if you keep it under boost so no one can hear the BOV when u shift

Re: Turbonetics T3/T4 Hybrid Turbo Kit For Sale
yeah its tricky stuff fo sho
just about all my friends drive turbo cars from the factory or turbo kits put onto cars, there are tons of turbos and very few superchargers the most ridiculous setup is one guy w/ a 95 GS that he put a hahn racecraft stage 2 turbo kit on, not knowing how much his tranny could hold he blew it pushing 5psi when the mechanic that installed it told him not to push it above 4, his mom provided him a new trans. so now he runs 5 daily and 10 w/a turbo xs twin stage boost controller (nice thing about turbos) everyone else pretty much is turbo from the factory and many run 14's to 13's in the cars they drive daily 3g manual transmissions can hold quite a bit of power though so not to worry about pushing too much power as long as ur not being ridiculous w/ 20lbs of boost

i didnt know that you couldnt run different boost levels with a supercharger. i thought it could be done with both turbos and superchargers

With superchargers, you would need to change the pulley (s) to run more/less boost. Much more difficult that running the turbo where you can turn the knob and lower/raise the boost.
