Cool My Little Peice of Modelling/Hobby Mecca

Well, my latest project has been to expand and organize my work area. I've tried to get enough room to where I can break my bench up into stations, Paint, Assembly, Solder/Chassis work, and storage/reference area. My bottom shelf is for completed display, and the upper shelf is speaker, unbuilt model, and large parts boxes. I've got a three drawer organizer that I store projects in.....umm, and I think I need about 3 more drawers. lol. My Hobby room is complete with a Weight bench, and Full stereo wired into my computer. ALL THE MUSIC I'LL EVER NEED!!! you can see the receiver and one of the speakers under the corner of the bench.....enjoy

Looks like the top shelf is also for storing beer after you get pissed off at that one tiny piece that won't fit. Very messy space you got, but if you can work in it, more power to you.

Re: My Little Peice of Modelling/Hobby Mecca

Wow, Cool! I wish i had a space like that. Every time i work on my models, i ahve to haul everyhting out. Have all my paints and tools put in an old tackle-box. But i do have a hobby tabel that i fold up. But an exclusive room just for me... that would be the best

Re: My Little Peice of Modelling/Hobby Mecca

I've taken over my brothers old room, but it's going to be taken back over by my parents. I model in my room at my desk, display all my completed and in progress on the extra bookshelf in my second room, and store all the boxes in the second rooms closet.

Re: My Little Peice of Modelling/Hobby Mecca

I have a folding TV tray and a hospital car that I build models on back home. Here, I have a lapdesk and a cardboard box. I'm hoping to get a desk of some kind and actually have a real place to work sometime soon!

you should be so lucky as to have an entire room. i had an entire room then we moved to a nicer but smaller apartment. now im in a corner with all the other stuff that wont fit in the closets. but the computer is in the same room but thats probably a bad thing

Re: My Little Peice of Modelling/Hobby Mecca

when i work closed up in the room. i've got a little fan that blows air out through the window, helps to pull the fumes out.
