914 swap
not sure if anyones still on this forum, but i have a friend with a 914 and i was wondering how easy it would be to swap in a ka24de from a nissan 240sx. well i guess how easy would be relative, but how possible would it be? what about an SR20DE? i guess thats the same answer as they have the same motor mounts, but would a FWD or RWD version work better? any feedback on this topic is more than welcome.

Re: 914 swap
I know a small block Chevy will fit so I don't see why a ka24de wouldn't. Make sure you check the length of the engine (flywheel to front pulleys). Width of engine seems to be no problem but length is tight.
I also know a rotary engine fits just fine. Make sure the engine spins the correct direction.
