Went to my local dodge dealer this weekend and asked why they didnt have one yet. I guess they have to sell so many vipers before they can have one on their lot. they also have to have a mechanic certified to work on the viper engine. Thats what he says anyway.

Re: Dodge Ram Srt 10
the only qualification that i know of for a dealer to sell the Ram SRT-10 is the certified viper mechanic and everything else that goes along with it (i.e. everything needed to work on the viper) other then that they just need to put in there order....now since they aren't goin to be makin that many Ram SRT's they may not get one do to availability...who knows?

Dodge ram SRT-10
8.3 L V-10. 500hp, 525 ft pounds torque, 0-60 in 5.2 seconds, 1/4 mile in 13.86 @ 101.49 mph all for just - $46000 I would never go near a ford lightning, i wouldn't want to be in a ford goin fast. The truck would just fall apart around me. |

60-0 mph 122 ft Lighting: 0-60 5.2 with 380hp 450 ft pounds torque, 1/4 mile 13.38@102.78 mph, 60-0 122 ft all for $32000. I think the Lighting can still hold it's own with having 120 less hp. It would be a race to see. |

Re: Dodge Ram Srt 10
Im P!st!!! I had a chance to Drive the new Ram & I didnt... I've had a 00 RT Dokota, 02 RT Durango, and I now have a 03 SLT Quad Cab Ram.
So as a valued customer they sent me an invatation to Test out the new ram on a track!!! Not only Test it, but get paid $100.00 to do it!! All they wanted was for me to do was tell them how I felt about the truck, was there anything I liked to disliked about it. I mixed the the D@m Dates & Missed it!!! That was 6-8 months ago & Im still P!ST about it!!

Re: Dodge Ram Srt 10
well stats wise...the new truck trend magazine the srt 10 beats the lightning at every test thrown at it with the exception of braking....i work as a tck at the local dodge dealer and we've already sold one, and apperentlyteh dealer has sold several vipers as well....also on the same topic does anyone else but me think that a four door version of the existing
srt-10 is the stupid-asstes idea. http://www.freep.com/news/latestnews...2_20040615.htm |
