He had the bulk of them from either you or Alan. I sent him 149 more.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

Ahhh ok. Well I did get a big load of those pics from the F1 LM thread in Matt's UCP High-Res Hide-Out, and the XP1LM files that Erik sent me also contained a large number of them that I've never seen before. However I'm still not entirely sure whether that's ALL of them, or there are others out there that I haven't yet seen.

And there's a Thread here with all of them, you say?

Now I don't know if this is new to any of you, but I just found this in, all of places, one of the Facebook McLaren F1 fan pages:-

It's F1 LM #LM3, blasting up the highway amongst a convoy of other Turner Motorsport cars and quickly filling the mirrors of this BMW E46. You can even see Frank's modified Mini Cooper S coming up near the back of the convoy. Not very big, but unique nonetheless, and new to me.

And the reason I didn't send them to him was because I don't have them either.

I don't know why I never got around to saving them, but as I told Aston - the way you can tell that I didn't is I never replied to the thread. Surely if I had remembered to come back and grab them I would have at least said "Thanks!". I can tell by looking at what thumbnails are left over that those are some really fantastic pictures!

MediaFire.com and Rapidshare.com seem to be the two best places to host if you want to do a ZIP/RAR file. Rapidshare queue's the downloads for people without paying accounts, and they have a 10 DL limit on your files if you don't have an account yourself. Mediafire seems to have none of those issues, but they don't allow people to use download accelerators without a paid account.

Quite welcome.

Anyone looking for the original LM image that I used should wander over to kimballstock.com - click "Automotive Imagery" and then in the 'Car Categories' drop down, choose a familiar name.

I don't know what I wasn't thinking...

I am sure it was on a to-do list in my head at some point, and then I just never got back to it. You shared them just a few weeks before I went to Monterey that year, so thinking back I should have been around.

Anyway, This is quite special image. !

Your post is kind of funny Sami, becuase that image first appeared on the web on the Turner Motorsport website with a 'Caption Contest' (maybe you know this already?) where the eventual winner was supposed to be given a ride in the F1 LM.

See it here: http://www.turnermotorsport.com/f1_photo_contest.htm

For future reference -

Hope Adam enjoyed his ride!
