Re: 1/24 Peugeot S2000 / Fiesta S2000 - Belkits

BRR = Baumschlager Race & Rally, the same people who have run Paddon for the second half of the SWRC season.

I checked my pics and it's indeed strange as service trucks in Germany and France are badged BRR but the exploitation team is Oreca (at least the engineer I know comes fom Oreca team), so rally team and exploitation team should be different (??) Maybe BRR can't assume development and exploitation by their own...?
I can't put my hands back on his professional card but he told me himself that team was Oreca and he is for sure part of Oreca as the email on his card where I sent some pics was an Oreca address; I also saw that he is not anymore in the BRR team with Paddon this year.
Maybe Oreca was just a short partnership for 2011...

Hi Phil,

See here

I would think the partnership between Oreca and BRR was maybe only for a few events?

You're right, it was a temporary partnership, so I was wrong thinking Oreca was the leading team, it was the technical team inside BRR... Diego was rigth.

Are the belkits any good compare to Tamiya ? Because I saw they had etched parts and the price is very decent so I wonder if the quality is there ?

Where's the best to get this in US/Can?

Japan store are overpriced (thanks to Studio27 that take his cut) and the only other store I know carrying it is HiroBoy, and shipping is a killer there.

I've checked all the pages and on page 1 and 5 there seem to be many pictures.... that I cannot see. But from your answer and people's comment on them I guess the kits are pretty good.

Have you tried Domino in Belgium? AFAIK they ARE Belkits so maybe you can get a good shipping price?

Yes. I don't know about the rest of the EU but to the US, it's something close to $30US for one kit. Crazy. It's MUCH less to Japan!
