1994 Calsonic Impul Primera JTCC
Kit: Tamiya 24147
Body paint: Rust Oleum rattle can primer, Humbrol enamel Blue, Rust Oleum rattle can laquer clear Other paints: Tamiya and Humbrol clear enamel, Uniball UM100 gel markers, Tamiya Acrylics Decals: from kit Completely out of box, only paint and glue was added here. Project date: August 2012 Built completely out of box for a contest. Also, it was long ago since I built a model without adding or modifying a simple bit of plastic and I wanted to see what a Tamiya kit looks like built that way. I was absolutely impressed once again for the great job they did on this one. I would definitely build another one. It was my first time applying tyre decal. They went on nice, I used acrylic X22 clear, and next day they looked a bit lifted. Should Iīve used microset/sol during application? Kit issues: not really, but just to mention something, maybe door key holes could be a little better. They look just like a little blister on the door, not worth painting that detail. Hood and trunk pins were molded nicely. I just went too heavy on the paint and that ruined that detail a bit. Also, panel lines are undone for same reason. I donīt wanna ruin the model trying to get back from that mistake. I think itīs my best build up to date Thx for looking. C&C are expected.

Re: 1994 Calsonic Impul Primera JTCC
Thanks for your nice words on my latest models.
Yes, modeling and Gran turismo turned me into kind of a fan of Nissan. I've built 10 Nissan on the latest 13 builds, and I still have about 10 more.
