Re: Models to be made

I've been swamped with work lately, but finally got around to unpacking my latest purchase, which was sent by surface mail.
Car kits are...
Aoshima
Mazda AZ-1
Countach LP400
Climax
275GTB Competizione Speciale s/n6885
Fujimi
Abarth 695 Tributo Ferrari
Countach LP500S Walter Wolf
Q-Model
250TR '59
SuperWorks
Maserati 450S Zagato
Tamiya
Porsche 935 Turbo
Lotus Mk.III
JS11
BT50

Now I can start my 695 & Scuderia double build.

(I never thought IdolMaster would bring me back to aircraft modeling.
What am I thinking?!)

Re: Models to be made

is that a Costin/Zagato 450s?
Do you also have the Profil24 one for comparison (not that it's easy getting a SuperWorks kit these days...)?

Re: Models to be made

I don't have Profil24's 450S kit to compare, and I don't see any point of doing that because SuperWorks kit looks and feels like a "garage kit," and
all of the resin parts require extensive cleaning. The body is not exactly symmetric, the surface is rough and edges are chipped. But this is actually
my second kit, so I knew exactly what I was getting. The kit includes aluminum rims, PE wire spokes and details, as well as rubber tires, so it's
far better than other garage kits. You can see the level of details in the photos below.

I think the kit belongs to "test your skills by taking on a poor kit" category.

Re: Models to be made

Thanks for the pics anyway.
I have a strange obsession with Zagato; probably because they're not all conventionally pretty. In fact, a lot of them are probably best described as outright ugly but nonetheless, they are all cool.

Re: Models to be made

This is my "ToDo" pile. The three 1989 Nissan and the Hartge (all completed) should be replaced with S14, S15, KPGC10 ad LFA that are actually being shipped. You can guess thereīs a "Nissan history" project and some FNF project too

Now my question is about those who had 5x "Golf V5", or 6x "Ford Escort", maybe 7x sets of equal wheels, and not talking about everybodies "give me 2 of each please" (and I will keep that german collector and modeller out of discussion). What were you guys thinking when you bought like that? Is it for a group build? Or just a "if a mess up a part I have a backup"? I mean, everyone with their own and thatīs great, but I never bought two SIMILAR models without finishing one (actually I never bought two equal models).
