Completed Project Pics: WRX Sti w/ big wing
Its me again,
here are pics of another project i recently completed. Its a WRX Sti with a modified wing. i basically extended the parts that connect with the trunk by adding a couple strips of plastic stock and sanded it to the right shape. i then covered the extension with Carbon Fiber decal. I got the idea from an actual WRX i saw in an import show in Atlantic city. I know it looks kinda crazy from some angles but overall i like it. let me know what you think. thanks |

my friend has a WRX that color with a wing that looks almost that big, right now he's got about 300 hp at the wheels

Any more finished models up your sleeve???
That looks great too, great paintjob and i love those wheels - what are they? Not sure about the wing but would like to see more pics and angles before making up my mind on it!

Paint looks great.....nice and smooth looking.
Not sure on that wing though as i think the lines dont look quite right having the wing so big. Just my 2 cents worth

I was kinda expecting that the wing wouldnt be the most popular aspect of the car. but i figured what the heck. But now that the jury is out, im sorta questioning its size as well.
To Flyonthewall, i will take more shots from different angles to help you make your decision on the wing tomorrow when my digicam's battery is charged. and as for the wheels, they are Fujimi: 18" Volk Racing Challenge Wheels that i picked up from HLJ a while back. they were taken from the supra model since i ordered some more appropriate wheels from Hoppin Hydros. |

nice wrx, the silver looks sharp against the world rally blue
the cf risers are a bit out of scale from the zerosports wing adaptor if that's where the idea came from though |

Nice Rims!! I'm using the same for my 00' Cobra R. Srry, but I'm not really feeling the wing.

guess i should have done some more research on the wing extensions. i thought they were a custom thing when i saw them at the car show. my mistake. i guess the good news is that i can always make it smaller. thanks for all your feedback. i really do appreciate it.

It's a good looking model, maybe the wing could be a tad smaller, but the alloys look great and really suit the WRX.
Is that a 350Z in the background of the 2nd pic?

Well, everthing is great but for the wing... it is nice if it is shorter. I mean the height!
