The Ultimate X
I have a lot of free time on my hands so I put together a little list. I call it the "Mod List" I thought it was silly at first but I have a feeling mine is not an original idea. I have to admit though that my list is a little on the dreamy side..... So I thought I would start this thread to see what you guys would do to your X if you could do anything you wanted.
1. 240 hp Pathy Engine swap 2. ARB Lockers front and back 3. Bad Ass! 3" suspension lift with revolver shackles 4. 32" tires 5. Lower Gears 6. Every Product Calmini Offers 7. 9000i Winch 8. Offroad Trailer I think I would leave the IFS intact. I kind of like the ride.

You remided me about the sound system. That was phase 1 for me. I spent about $2500 and XM radio war part of it. What a difference a good stereo makes

Goliath hit the nail on the head right there...
Diesel Solid Axle in front. I would add: Coil springs all around. |

From what I understand the Patrol drivetrain is near bulletproof. 1988+ models have the H233B up front. Nice 31 spline in the front, 33 in the rear. http://www.4wdonline.com/Nissan/GQ.html http://www.4wdonline.com/Nissan/GU.html I wonder how much to get one imported and if it would be worth the hassle. |

Yeah but if I went that far I'd just get a D90.
It'd be cool to be able to survive a dunk like this with no damage.

Be nice to survive the dunk
As long as the water was warm! It'd be a hard toss between the Discovery and the D-90? Disco would be a better daily driver but the D-90 would be the Ultimate for me! I test drove one two years ago in Canaduh! Would have had to fork over the extra $20grand!
